I lost the tweet but someone as like "why is Jayce not sitting in the empty seats instead of standing between Mel and Viktor?" (end of season 1)

It made me realize Jayce moved that chair for Viktor! This is the usual seating arrangement:

The chairs are in the concave part of the cog-table, normally Jayce seats between Heimerdinger and Mel.

But at the end, Heimerdinger's chair is empty because he retired, and Jayce is still in his place between Mel and the empty chair.

He basically dragged his own chair back and to the left a bit so Viktor could sit in it:
